Shihpai
County Boundary Park is located in the northwest mountain range of Yilan.
The park is located along the Beiyi Highway. Along the southern edge of
the highway, the park narrows into a strip of land. From here, visitors
can overlook the plains of Yilan. This beautiful view is a popular
sightseeing attraction.
Shihpai District is on the border of Yilan and Taipei provinces.
The area's beautiful scenery has spurred development of the local
attractions. The two provincial governments have been working together
to develop Shihpai County Boundary Park into a popular tourist
attraction.
The developed Shihpai County Boundary Park now has a parking area,
stores, a tourist service center, a viewing deck, green hiking routes,
and an information center. The developments enhance the landscape of
Shihpai while providing assistance for tourists at rest areas. In the
future, Shihpai County Boundary Park will be managed and maintained by
the Yilan county government.
